Where is tarns lair on runescape

Also as said before, there are quite a good number of undead creatures ranging from combat; don't come in an unarmored manner. Be sure to have some good fighting gear, as well as a good supply of food.

There is a bank in the dungeon you can use, but there is a gold fee for accessing it, mind you. Getting There. Entering the Dungeon. Since you have already completed the Haunted Mine quest, you already know how to access the main sector of the mine. Once you enter the first room of the Haunted Mine, you will notice a that there is a new tunnel to the north. Walk up and you will see an entrance, can you guess what to do next?

No- you don't go home and cry to your mommies- you enter! You are now in the area dubbed The Lair of Tarn Razorlor. Looking in the room, you will notice a small "X" on one of the tiles:. These "X"s are Floor Traps! No need to worry, they will only harm you if you step on them! Now, that you seem to notice your surroundings, it's time to go and hunt down Tarn Razorlor!

But which way to go Tarn's Lair is quite an extraordinary maze filled with caverns and keeps filled with skeletons, many of which will lead to dead ends. Your mission isn't to go and chit-chat with the local skeletons, it is to kill Tarn. Getting to Tarn. Now, once you are ready, head east and you will come in contact with a zombie. Now, the entrance you need to get to is still another room away, but if you look and notice, there are spears coming out of those walls!

Now, having spears skewer you can really ruin a person's day, so let's try and avoid that! To get past these pesky-points, right click them and you will see the option to Search Wall as seen in the picture.

If you search it successfully, you will disarm the trap and walk past it freely. Head to entrance located to the north and you will find yourself in this room:.

Now, is it just me, or is that big hanging log from the ceiling there just by chance? If you are on the same page as me, you will see next to you, small "button" on the tile and when you right click it, it gives you the option to Search Floor.

If you do this to success, you will have disarmed the trap and will be free to hop from pillar-to-pillar-to-other side.

Be careful now, sometimes your disarming of the trap will backfire and the log may knock you down! If you do fall, head east, then south, then west, and you will see the same entrance to go back to this room. You will also notice the fact that there is a bank to the east! Once you reach the other side, go through the entrance and you will find yourself in a room with two level 77 Skeletons.

No need to bother with them, just snoop on by and enter the next room. You will find yourself in a long hallway, but all you need to do is go up the entrance next to you. You will then be in a small room with several zombies and a floor trap in it. Take the entrance to the west, and then in the next hall, take the entrance right next to you. Once you do this, you will find yourself in a room with a Giant Skeleton.

You don't need to kill him, but you can if you wish for the semi-valuable drops they may bring, such as Big Bones and Agillity Potions. Take the entrance to the west, and in the next room, take the entrance to the north there are more wall traps in this room. You will then find yourself in another "Celing Log Trap" room, but this time, with more pillars.

There is another "button" disarming the log trap on the other side of the room. Don't hop to the pillars with the white "X"s unless you enjoy getting hit with a big log! Disarm the trap and hop back and now go across the pillars to the north side of the room. Head east down the hall there are more wall traps here mind you and you will come to this room:. Make sure you step by carefully while avoiding these traps, they can push you off the edge and when you fall, you can take up to 18 damage!

There are 2 sets of these traps, make sure you avoid both of them. When you surpass this room, you will enter the next, which is a pillar filled area, and you may see at the far end of the room, there are several skeletons; some with shields and swords, some with robes on! And with robes, you know what that means- Mages!

Yes, hop across to their side of the room, and they will begin to attack you. The mages will use their own version of the spell Weaken where they will temporarily lower your Strength Level.

Quickly right-click the pillars to jump two spaces to the east and then straight north across the log trap Picture. Turn Protection against Melee back on. After getting across the log trap, you will see a narrow hallway leading to the east. There are several wall traps on the southern and northern side of the hallway along with a single skeleton.

Right-click the walls to disarm the traps and make your way to the east. Once you bypass the wall traps, you will need to travel to the east past several moving wall traps Picture.

Simply turn on run and run past each wall trap one at a time. Don't try to run past both of them at once or you will find yourself pushed over the edge and damaged. Once you reach the end of the hallway, click the staircase on the eastern wall Picture.

You will find yourself in another room in which you must leap from pillar to pillar Picture. Make your way across the pit but remember to change your prayer to Protection from Magic since you will get maged by skeleton mages.

Make your way across the pillars and quickly go down the stairwell in the middle of the room. Remember to watch for floor traps. This is the final room before entering Tarn's Lair Picture. There are no enemies in this room nor are there floor traps. Take this time to restore your health and prayer before entering the Lair. Now you need to fight Tarn. Tarn has 2 forms you need to defeat; both forms are level 69, but the first form is a mutant looking thing and the second form is of a ghost.

You should use protect from melee prayer and have no difficulty in killing him. Once you have killed Tarn you will gain 5, slayer experience. Please note he will not respawn so you cannot kill him multiple times for mass slayer experience Head to the chamber to the north which contains Tarn's diary and pick it up Picture.

Now you can choose to teleport out of the dungeon or make your way back out backtracking along your route. In the room Tarn was in will now be 4 terror dogs level and which can be assigned as a slayer task. Terror dogs have a chance of dropping a granite helm. Stuck on something?
