The following day includes graduates from the College of Nursing, the College of Education and the College of Applied studies. If you are a prospective graduate with degree conferral scheduled for Spring or Summer, you will be permitted to participate if you are enrolled in all outstanding courses required for degree completion.
This may include enrollment in courses scheduled for Summer. Honors for commencement ceremony purposes are based on the student's current GPA and earned hours at the end of the previous fall semester or the first eight-week grading of the spring semester if enrolled in the first eight-week classes. All students who apply and are enrolled in all required courses to complete degree requirements in Spring or Summer are eligible to participate in the spring commencement ceremony.
Grades will not be recorded until after commencement and grades are due. After degree clearance, honors, if applicable, are posted on the transcript and the diploma. Spring candidates must apply for graduation by March 30 to be included in the commencement book or honor addendum. Students must be enrolled at Fayetteville State University in the semester they intend to graduate.
