4.3 where to get epic gems

Volatile earth. Inferno ruby. Twilight highlands. Volatile life. Dream emerald. Of all these elements, several are in high supply. Of these, you need to be watching for the lowest prices, and shamelessly bottom feeding. Three of the elements are either in low supply or high demand, or have such a volatile value that they are worth stockpiling. Never stockpile any item without a back up plan. Your gamble could go wrong. Expensive and highly desirable.

Low supply. Tome Burning Jewels is bind on pickup, unfortunately they cannot be traded. They sell for 4 jewelcrafter daily tokens. Specific patterns sell for 5 tokens. The patterns from the tomes for epic gem cuts are random.

Jewelcrafters do your jewelcrafting daily quests, hoard your jc tokens and pray to the RNG gods for lucky drops. Click a few magic buttons at wowpopular. From here we can extrapolate the cuts you will want to get. I defnitly think this will come in Cata too. On my Server, pyrit ore only costs 40g stack. So fill up you stockings.. I believe that in LK you could prospect titanium for epic gems as soon as they were released, yet there is still a possibility that this will happen too in a future patch.

There werent epic gems in the start of Wotlk. But when they were introduced the only way to get them was through prospecting. Then later they were made buyable from honor and justice points.

So actually im not too sure this will happen since they are not over flooding markets right now and still "easily" obtainable. Hold on Also epic quality gems we available in WOTLK through a reward from the fishing daily before they were avilable from prospecting.
